For fulfilling its tasks the Waren-Verein established the following sections and working groups:- Section for Dried Fruit and Edible Nuts
- Section for Canned and Deep-Frozen Fruit, Vegetables, Juices and Fish
- Working Group for Fishery and Fine Food Products
- Working Group for Dried Vegetables

- Cooperation with the Honig-Verband e.V. (Honey Association)
- Cooperation with the European honey association F.E.E.D.M. (Fédération Européenne des Emballeurs et Distributeurs de Miel)
