Changes in foodlaw at EU and at national level, demands on food safety and consumer protection, high quality standards as well as the global developments of the markets mark the current challenges for the food trade. Hence a strong partner is needed. The aim of the Association is the optimal representation of the interests of its members. The Waren-Verein perceives itself as service provider as well as an intermediary to authorities and policy makers.

The Assocation represent members from Germany and neighbouring countries. Associated membership is open to all companies located outside of Germany, which are involved in the trade with preserved foodstuffs. All information is provided in German language.
